How I Started:
I have been working out off and on for about 10 years with yo-yoing weight from 140-212. I am a very busy single mom of 3 (just 2 living at home now) with a grandson and until recently, I haven't had much time to really take care of myself the way I should. With my boyfriend being a Martial Arts instructor, I figured it was time to start. Someday, maybe even I can do the splits like him...hehehehe. With my current job, I have a lot more time now.
Why I Love It:
I love the way working out makes you feel....full of energy and just overall healthy. Your clothes fit better, I feel better.
How I Stay Motivated:
I think about the time I went to visit my sister and she said, "Wow, you got fat!. Also, I am allergic to flour so when I eat things like bread or any kind of junk food, I am miserable.
I would like to get down to 150 pounds. Anything less than that and my hip bones stick out and I look like a toothpick. I don't know why, but I weigh more than I look. My main goal, if it is possible, is to just lose the baby pooch. I like my chest and behind the way it is. I just do not like my stomach.

I usually walk 5-7 miles 3-4 days a week. It was outside but now that it is so cold, I use my Gazelle, yoga 3-4 days a week for 30 minutes, and Tae Bo 30 minutes 2-3 days a week. I don't do more than that or I lose weight too fast.
