Spasm in the neck muscles...could very well be, I remember my neck felt kind of stiff/tight. Better than popping a blood vessel in my brain which is the first thing I thought of!

Great to see you're keeping up with killer workouts even through a busy schedule. So, what did you think of 'New Moon'?

I've been reading about your dino workouts, you're the first one I've seen trying that. Keep posting about it, it's interesting.

Yesterday I did the upright rows with a 25 pound plate on each end of an EZ curl bar. I didn't count the weight of the bar. I do them with dumbbells sometimes too. They are one of my least favourite exercises, but I try not to ignore them completely.

In other words, it took me 43 months to figure out what the h**l I was doing :-)

I like most of their music, but I never really got into them in a big way like you have!

I thought no queasiness on leg day meant I wasn't pushing to the max. Glad to be wrong!

I had to go find a pic of Tom Platz. Legs like him? When pigs fly!

I think having numbers goals are good to a point, but they shouldn't replace the real reason why we work out - health and improved quality of life. If numbers goals lead to bad workout decisions or frustrations, toss them.

Thanks for pointing me to the nutrition article, it confirms that my approach to eating can lead to getting lean while still adding muscle. I will stay the course!

I've just about decided to try the 3S training approach. You're into your 12th week of it now, how did you find it?

Just read Alex Stewart's article, surprised to see that many of the principles of the 3-S are similar to what I've been doing in many of my workouts, his approach is just more structured. Unless I find something a lot more appealing, this is probably the routine I'll use for the next few months.

Hi John, I'm not doing the P90X, that was just a one off. My gym loans out the DVD's for members to use on-site, I just joined in with another guy because I was curious. I enjoyed the Kenpo workout, I'll probably have a look at some of the others later...for now I'll keep hammering away at those barbells and dumbbells!

Hi Steve. I did a search for the 3-S workout but couldn't find anything. Could you point me in the right direction?
