After not competing the past two years, I finally feel my physiques is coming back. Competition really put my metabolism through the ringer. And am really happy with my physique now and how I feel about it. Was going to compete this year, but with a new job that requires travel and dining it would have made it pretty stressful. So I've decided to continue to live healthy, keep up the intensity of my workouts and compete towards a new goal...a 1/2 marathon. Love the adrenaline after a long run and I love to compete...so why not?
Well I am less than 3 days out from my first 1/2 marathon! This is what runners call taper week..less running, more resting...Ran 4miles monday and some eliptical, 3 miles Tuesday with some eliptical and 2 miles this am with ...you guessed it more eliptical. Thursday just plan on...
good luck on training for your marathon! i just actually did my first 5K (haha...no comparison), but not that bad since i haven't done cardio since march. great photos, btw.
