STARTING OVER WITH A FRESH VENGEANCE

Background

When I Started: Jun 2003
HOW I STARTED:

LOcked up about to go sit down for 42mos and, i was about an alcoholic scrawny type cat with a naturally gifted physique. Most I must confess is due to my gene pool of track stars and football heads. I began doing the "county" workouts ie. push-ups, dips, chin-ups and, inverted pushups in my jail cell. After a couple months of this while awaiting trial I was beginning to recieve CRAZY compliments left and right.WOOHOOO!!! "I'm the man" was my attitude. My physique surpassed EVERYbody and I didn't let it rush to my head. I was on the way to the 'joint' where cats doing LIFE had been on the iron pile for YEARS before I was even a D.O.C. number. So there I was, eager to get what I called "OPERATION BLOW UP" in full swing. I got there weighing in at 175lbs lean. I finally was released at a less than %5 bodyfat count and benching 365lbs squatting 495lbs dead-lifting an even 600lbs bb curling (with straight bar 45lbs) 215lbs (a little backswinging involved..BUT I CURLED DAT B*#TCH) all at a weigh in of 205lbs and I have been up and down with my routine ever since. I may take half a year off and jump back on it and blow up in a matter of 3-4weeks and im 35. Now Im a protein counter and only on week 2 of my 8 week program.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I am infatuated with lifting iron simply because of the priceless feeling of exhiliration I get when I'm pacing to and fro between sets, dissecting my next set and focusing on the muscle being worked at the time. I dont really dig going to the gym because the jock swingers always got somethin to talk about....I DO NOT LIKE TO TALK WHEN I AM WORKING OUT PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE. The gym to me is a place that majority wanna show off new shoes of headphones...WHO CARES WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER AT BAND CAMP!!! I'M there to get money (workout) and leave so I can eat!!! I am educated in fitness fluently enough that my bench at home on the back porch has me surpassing guys that have been frequenting the gym for some time. I especially LOve hittin the beach to bbq and watching those "INVISIBLE WHEELBARRELL PUSHERS" TRY prancing around only to put there shirts back on when I peel off the top to the CHEVY (my body). It's an unparalleled feeling as well as reassuring that all those sets and endless reps actually become appreciated by your surroundings only to fuel your next routine. I CANT GET ENOUGH AND DONT WANNA SEE MYSELF EVER gettting ENOUGH. IT'S MY LIFE. I sell firewood and working out pays off when you're rollin' 200+lb rounds onto the log splitter. THANK THE HEAVENS FOR WEIGHTLIFTERS AND THE IRON THAT GETS THEM THERE!!!!
