How I Started:
I started for high school football and wrestling and then picked up a copy of Flex and my interest in bodybuilding started then in 2001.
Why I Love It:
It is a beautiful combination of three completely separate things. It is a sport that requires hardcore training and competition. It is a science of training, supplementation, and nutrition. And lastly it is an art. Combining everything into a posing routine in which you show everyone in the crowd who you are without saying a word.
How I Stay Motivated:
I've only really been unmotivated when I was in the Marine Corps and wasn't able to work out or eat right.

PHAT- Power Hypertrophy Adaptive Training
Train every muscle group twice a week. Utilizing low reps (4-6) with long rest periods (3-5min) for power days and high reps (8-15) and shorter rest periods (1-2min) on hypertrophy days.
