When I Started:
Feb, 2009
How I Started:
I started as a kid in the 5th grade. Over the next three years I competed in different strength competitions, winning many in my weight class. We moved to a small town for my High school yrs. where I didn't lift much due lack of weight trainning experience at my high school. I came into this school being one of the strongest as a fresmen and stayed that way through out high school. Jump to my 30's and out of shape, I figured it was time to get it back.
Why I Love It:
Since I'm just starting back. I'll have to get back to ya on that.
How I Stay Motivated:
It helps to log on here and see all you fit folks, and to know I'll look like ya'll one day soon. I also watch the biggest loser.
I've got carpal tunnel, and I'm having trouble do some of my exercises. Mostly bar bell rows, bb curles and the such. Any body got any suggestions on relieving the pain or other exercises would be helpfull.
I started a 4 week plan last week. Week 1 was a 3 day split with a total body workout, with 1 exercise per body part and 3 sets of 8,10,and12 reps.. This week, week 2 is a 2 day split with upper body Monday and Thursday. 2 exercises per body part for 3 sets ea. and reps. of 10,12,and15. ...
it was a good program to do for 3 months but I started getting bored of it and went back to the good ol' gym. I still use it from time to time though to supplement if I can't make it to the gym
when you upload your photos, there will be a dropdown menu that directs where they go...make sure you know what gallery you are sending them to, either "member gallery" or whatever...maybe that is it.
