I began working out when I, for many reasons, realized I no longer wanted to be a size 14, 165lbs. I was NOT going to purchase not even 1 more double digit anything. When I put on make up, I didn't look any prettier to me. I was tired of wearing a FAT suit. If it wasn't for my husband waking up and working out with me, who knows...I may still be fat! I am a mother of two and I have a vertical cut from a c-section. Personally, I was tired of looking like I had a azz on my stomach, I was determined to have a much improved ab area that I could be proud of or at least not HAVE to pull a shirt down over everytime I stood up after sitting. And if I heard one more woman say, "It's because I have kids", I thought I would absolutely SCREAM! I was determined to not be fat because of anything other than my lazy azz not getting up and putting in some work and staying away from Krispy Kreme!
Why I Love It:
I love the results! I love looking younger than I am, I love shopping again, I love being a part of the "fit" click! I feel so powerful and invincible when I weight train. Not to mention my husbands reaction to my body...it makes me feel really sexy.
How I Stay Motivated:
Reading fitness magazines and observing everyday peoples bodies in public keep me motivated as well as reflecting on my "before" pics. I am now a fitness trainer after having loss over 30 pounds. I want to take my body to another level, so I guess too continue to set new goals for myself. I never want to have a "ordinary" body again which would mean being amoung the 65% of overweight Americans. It is my mission & my passion to teach other women who feel they can't, that they can and through their desire and determination, I stay fresh.
I began my regime about 15 days after this pic. I saw a harsh reality! Before this, I really didn't realize I was fat...on my side of town, they call this "Thick".
Wow, was I wrong
I'm bloated but I believe there is progress (ok, maybe NOT) :( ! Haven't worked as hard as I could've and attended too many "get togethers"...but here is the motivation I need to keep going towards my goal!
What do men find SEXY in women. I have some ladies I train, and lots of times...we talk about what we find SEXY in our husbands and men in general. Maxim magazine did a feature that my husband told me about what women love in men. Things were sooo....interesting. Of course, as women we...
