started dieting when i saw a pic of me that showed me how bad i had let my health get. Dieting was not enough, so I started working out. I am hooked. I love it.
Why I Love It:
I love the rush, the pump, the energy, the challenge. I love that it reduces stress.
How I Stay Motivated:
Well I stay motivated by personal goals. By achieving them and trying again when I may fail to meet the goal. I have dropped about 27lb in last 14 months and about 13% lower bf. I am motivated when I see someone further along than me in this journey, it inspires me.

I would like to squat and bench 1-1/2 times my body weight(330)by July 2009. Continue increasing intensity, keep my workout plan challenging and adapt it to my needs.
One other goal I have is to start squatting and benching sets of 100 reps, gradually bring weight up to 225 on squat and 100 for bench bu end of year.

LOL I know, but I'm doing it anyways! Decided not to do that goal afterall...just didn't wanna get any lower in bodyfat. I have a pound left to loose and want to exchange some more fat for muscle, so if the six-pack happens somewhere in all of that, then so be it...otherwise, whatever :) Well how have you been lately???
I have been backing off the carido a bit and not loosing as much weight. The weight training is going good. I have been doing good on my food. Thanks for stopping by.
Hey...doing well here, staying busy. The quads are turning 4 in a couple of weeks, and we are planning to have a big birthday party for them. Needless to say my wife has me busy with honey-dos. I'll be careful out on the roads...imagine it is bittersweet...she can take herself places now, but you have to worry about her more.
It's going really well :) I started going to a gym awhile back, so I've been running a lot less and lifting weights more instead. It's been fun...just trying to loose a few more pounds though before Thanksgiving!
Hey man...not sure if I answered your question about Raleigh earlier, but yeah, I have always lived around the area (Durham and Chapel Hill also) except for one summer when I decided to do summer school in Wilmington, NC...the beach in the summer...can't beat it!
