Compete
Goal (Overall):
185 is a good bodyweight to maintain for somebody my height. I'm going to keep it here to my best ability. I may be ready for something in the middle of 2010.
Goal (Long):
I was actually looking to begin competing in 2008, but a partially torn pectoral delayed that a year. I planned to compete in 2009, but I wanted to build more of a base. I'm a very cautious person, and I compete to win, even if it means biding time. So 20X is my goal. If I don't think I'm ready, I'll keep waiting until I am ready. I will be attending the NGA Mr. and Ms. Steel Valley in Ohio, come and check it out, or compete, but I'm taking it easy and watching to see what exactly I need to beat. I will be at the Kumite Classic in Pittsburgh checking out the events and the bodybuilding events.

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you in your career?
Oh yeah, at school I'm always the one who gets to carry the heavy load if something needs to be moved. I'm always happy to do it, though, especially if it's a study hall period.

Finally, after 2 months of reading a 550 page manual I am currently taking the exam that will enable my certification. That's good news, as always, but then the fun part comes. The job, college, and trying to find a way to fit my diet and workout in all in one day. This is the bad news. But...

I'm currently in the hypertrophy phase for the next 7 weeks. I like to to each workout and each exercise in 18-25 sets for 8-12 reps each time. I use a spotter to assist me to get 8 on certain sets. This is when muscle growth is at it's full strength.
