Background
I've worked out in various ways since my early 20s and used to do martial arts as a teenager. My 2IC inspired me to take my weight lifting and nutrition more seriously. Now I'm kicking ass and taking names in the base gym on my first overseas deployment, loving every minute of it.
Endorphins and feeling great are at the top of my list, followed closely by the sexy woman I get to see in the mirror. I'm also enjoying the prospect of living a long, strong, healthy life with my wonderful man.

Things are going well here on the unnamed tropical island of semi-boredom (better than being an island of DOOM I suppose, but still...) Gym here is good, even though there's only one squat rack and one bench rack. Thankfully I don't have to share it with many others, as so few of the guys use it... Current stats for StrongLifts 5x5: Squat - 72.5kg (nailed it Friday, up to 75 tomorrow hopefully) Bench - 45kg Barbell Row - 42.5kg Overhead Press - 27.5kg (had to deload as I got stuck on 32.5)...
