Fit Status:
Was invited to be a Guest speaker at my Doctor's weight loss clinic tonite!!!
Unlike most of the bio's I read on bb.com - I was never athletic, I was a band geek, and a darn good one !!!
I started really working-out for the first time at age 47. I was obese for years, working with various nutritionist for one or two appointments, but really floundering, looking for answers, not having any success, not knowing what to do.
When I did the treadmill I would never sweat and when I lifted weights I was never sore. I was lost.
Why I Love It:
I love the Adrenaline rush from lifting. I was shocked that my body changed, the more I lifted, dieted, and stuck with cardio the more changes I saw. I had no idea someone could transform their body so much.
How I Stay Motivated:
Being on BB.com motivates me, reading and seeing how people are so dedicated to their sport is extremely inspirational for me. Bodybuilders Rock !!!
BB Accomplishments:
1. Losing 60 lbs in 10 months and have kept it off for one year.
2. Having a before and after Reader Transformation article written about me in the April 2008 issue of Muscle and Body Magazine.

I've completed two of the TT WO's plus I completed 700 weighted crunches with a 25 lb this week, I think I see some definition. Let's see if I can get another 700-800 weighted crunches in this week coming up !!!

Goal (Long):
Right now I'm trying to Hard gain to add some mass. March 1, 2009 I want to start cutting like mad, I'd like to lose 20 lbs, get bf to 15% (??). I'm 210 lbs now, I'd like to be 190 lbs - something I haven't been since 8th grade!!!
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 20 lb

What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
Right now I'm doing eliptical. I used to do a lot of plyometrics from Oxygen Magazine or maybe I'll do jump roping. I set-up my own circuit training sessions - 30 seconds mountain climbers, rest 10-30 seconds, then go to jump rope, then maybe to jumping squats. I used to do sledge-hammers and "road-work" PM if you want me to explain further. My back is hurting me so I have to lay-off some of the intense stuff, but it's fun, I miss it !!!Right now I'm doing eliptical. Description: Peak Seeker - Bicep video - I have had great success and growth with this vid, it's also the vid I was doing when I tore a ligament in my bi - so becareful, but you do get great results. I've started doing it again, lowering my weight forawhile. Let me know your opinion. clc.

Started diet today using food log so no cheating & made myself put in cardio on the elliptical (not my fav) after weight training. It will all be worth it to see my muscles again instead of the bf!
Love the new pics! Your progress shows how dedicated you are to maintaining a fit lifestyle. I'm just returning to bb after a long "vacation" due to a death in the family. I'm feeling much better & looking forward to more time in the gym.

i think if you pay for friday night, the ticket is also good on sat. the pros are on sat. also, I think pro figure is sat. just depends on what you wanna see. I'm going to see some of the girls on fri that I had competed against.
Hey! congrats on your transformation! I love reading profiles such as yours. Awesome. My husband and I kinda tag team these goals and decided to both take a break this Fall. I will do OCB Pride of Atlantic again next Spring. I am going to observe on Fri nite as well. Randi Abell (beat me for first last spring) is competing. would like to see her. Again, great profile and transformation!
i have a tendon pulled in my right bicep and my left elbow has tendonitious in it,and its been a long recovery,going on 2 months now,ive been workoing out 2-3 days per week trying to ease back into it gradually
