Unlike most of the bio's I read on bb.com - I was never athletic, I was a band geek, and a darn good one !!!
I started really working-out for the first time at age 47. I was obese for years, working with various nutritionist for one or two appointments, but really floundering, looking for answers, not having any success, not knowing what to do.
When I did the treadmill I would never sweat and when I lifted weights I was never sore. I was lost.
Why I Love It:
I love the Adrenaline rush from lifting. I was shocked that my body changed, the more I lifted, dieted, and stuck with cardio the more changes I saw. I had no idea someone could transform their body so much.
How I Stay Motivated:
Being on BB.com motivates me, reading and seeing how people are so dedicated to their sport is extremely inspirational for me. Bodybuilders Rock !!!
BB Accomplishments:
1. Losing 60 lbs in 10 months and have kept it off for one year.
2. Having a before and after Reader Transformation article written about me in the April 2008 issue of Muscle and Body Magazine.
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
Right now I'm doing eliptical. I used to do a lot of plyometrics from Oxygen Magazine or maybe I'll do jump roping. I set-up my own circuit training sessions - 30 seconds mountain climbers, rest 10-30 seconds, then go to jump rope, then maybe to jumping squats. I used to do sledge-hammers and "road-work" PM if you want me to explain further. My back is hurting me so I have to lay-off some of the intense stuff, but it's fun, I miss it !!!Right now I'm doing eliptical. What is your cardio exercise plan?
Cardio 6 days a week, exactly what my PT suggested I do !!! Some days I'll do it before breakfast, mostly at 8 am ???? Sometimes I'll mix it up and only do it at night, maybe somedays I'll do twice in one day. Yo, yo, yo...Yesterday I had 2 hav emergency oral surgery 2 extract 1 of my wisdom teeth do 2 absession and infection! Needless 2 say Dat my diet and workout schedule has suffered 4 da last 2 days. Dis wks progress pix may be disappointing. I do plan 2 hit HARD and STRONG once I know dat I'm in da clear. So given dat bit of info I still would like 2 have feed back GOOD or BAD when I do my weigh in and progress pix on Sunday! Keep up UR hard work so dat I will be envious of ur progress!

Sup Chuck...Had a GREAT day 2day! Stayin FOCUSED & training HARD! Truthfully, I got n trouble w/bodyspace 4 da few racey pix dat I had on my site so I removed them. Well you get well soon! My prep is going very well, thankyou. It is certainly going to be an exciting next 8 weeks. I am at 15.8%BF...and have to get that number way down.
