Lots of high nutritional value vegetables, juices, lower but not extremely low carbs, and adequate protein.
- Mon- "No carb Monday" I keep carbs extremely low and take in extra juices to recover from any damage done on the weekend
- Tue/Wed- Low carbs. This really is just my normal way of eating. Its not extreme at all, but I do avoid starches.
- Thu- I might have some starch and a few more carbs.
- Fri - Low carbs
- Sat or Sun- Cheat meal or two, either in the a.m. or the p.m., but not both. I will eat anything I want, but I'm never a glutton, well almost never ;)
I eat a lot of high value foods, especially vegetables: spinach, kale, berries, quinoa, lots of salads, etc
I love fresh made juices from local juiceries. Occassionally I will "detox" for a few days and only have juices and foods often found in "detox" or "cleanse" programs. I never starve myself, I just eat more nutritionally dense, generally green vegetables.
For protein I eat mostly fish, chicken, and lean turkey. I also have a protein shake for breakfast or lunch. Steak or burgers on the weekend.
If i cheat during the week, its uaually pita chips, excessive nuts, or chocolate.
