I saw my graduation photos and almost fainted at how large I had become. Joined a gym and started training. I started with aqua aerobics, advanced to land and loved it so much I became an instructor. After I was married I became slack again, but another 5 years pased , I engaged a PT . Have been weight training ever since
Why I Love It:
I love how good I feel afterwards, that it makes me look good and overall the sense of well being and achievement. When I'm fit I feel confident and I can achieve anything.
How I Stay Motivated:
I review my goals everyday.
I have pics of great lean muscular bodies on my fridge
I look at my before pics
I want achieve and maintain a six pack and a lean muscular physique.
Goal (Long):
I've been weight training for over 5 years and have good muscle development. I have a small frame - 5'2 so gaining or losing 2-3 kg shows up immediately.
I would like to maintain my weight at 50-51kg , and around 16% body fat.
2010 is the year for my first comp
Ok did not achieve my 15% target for 2009 :( but got pretty close. Good thing is I know I can do it - I've been in the 'zone'
Life and training is about balance - Train hard but recovery is a must

Full Body workouts (3/4 times a week) - goals
1. to burn as many calories as possible at each weights session.
2. Lose fat and maintain muscle
Super setting mainly back and chest (moderate weights 15 reps 3 sets) with plyometric...

So sorry to hear about your Mom. She will continually be in my prayers. She is so fortunate to have a great daughter like you. My training is goign well I'm 3 lbs away from reaching my 205 lbs goal so wish me luck. Looks like your training is going well.
