Overall Goal: i want to look tight and solid with muscle defintion and proportion. Also to defeat my alcoholism. i want my little princess to be in someway proud of her daddy and maybe i'll have a training partner in the future.

lifted my first weights as a teenager and off and on for many years afterwards.
Why I Love It:
over the course of many years i have learned and am still learning new things i incorporate into my workouts. i like feeling of being strong and tight.hopefully i will get to that place again.
How I Stay Motivated:
its hard because i love beer but, as soon as this current beerathon is over, i think i can motivate myself with each preceding workout. being divorced and a very involved dad to my 6 year old princess i feel a need to be a better man and father and this will be my way.

Goal (Long):
i have been immersed in the beer drinking "culture" since the 70's and i have achieved all i can do with it so there is nothing left. i want and need to stop altogether, but this is going to be difficult. i take my workouts very seriously and my lust for beer comprimises everything.i am divorced after 22 years and need to start anew. my 23 year old son likes to drink which worries me, but i believe he's like his mother and will be alright. my darling princess is only 6(yes by the same woman) and i'm afraid that she has more of my bad genes. stopping drinking would be for me, but would also set an example for my son and to teach my girl(who i am very much involved with) a life of fitness.
thanks for the tips. I am doing the protein now so that seems to be helping alot. funny tho how ur body will let you know that it needs it. keep up the good work.
Thank you for stopping by and for the nice compliment. Based on your profile avi, your training appears to be going well. How are you doing in meeting your other goal of defeating your alcoholism? I can only imagine how tough that must be. It seems you have made a great choice in selecting fitness to focus on. Best of luck to you.
