My Nutrition Philosophy View My Full Nutrition Philosophy
I consume 5-6 small meals per day, I very much 'feel' what my body needs and try to optimise every meal accordingly.
I vary the percentages of Protein/Carbohydrate ratio throughout the day, this ensures that I eat the correct meals at the correct time, this also 'more importantly' means that I never eat the wrong thing at the wrong time.
Meal spacing/timing is essential in how you progress, think of it as a long slow burn towards your goals, no shortcuts!
I have created my own methodolgy and have written many nutrition plans for my clients to great effect, the results are astounding, not just in visual change, but also in terms of a sense of wellbeing!
In one sentance, I would some it up as 'Only eat what you can use, not a calorie more, or less'...
You are what you eat, there's no truer saying than that!
My Supplement Philosophy View My Full Supplement Philosophy
Although I try to cover as much of my nutritional requirements through REAL food, supplements are definitely a large part of the picture!
I use four basic types of supplement.
First a high quality protein blend, not just whey, for breakfast/pre workout and before sleep
Secondly a Low carb High protein Meal replacement for post workout.
Thirdly I use a creatine Ester
Finally I use a strong Multi-Vitamin

I am always in competition with myself...
I set workouts that require constant improvements in strength, this is hard, but it ensures that I always keep progressing and therefore remain motivated, the new challenge is always the next workout!
