When I Started:
Oct, 1995
How I Started:
Being young, I wanted to work toward something outside of school sports to keep me motivated. I wanted something that others kids weren't a big part of. I talked to a lifting coach at my local gym and he got me interested in power lifting. About a year later, a friend of mine talked me into doing my first bodybuilding competition, and it just spawned from there!
Why I Love It:
The way I feel after a workout is amazing. I also love to look like I am in the best shape I can be in for myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
I think of other competitors and what they've been through in their lives and how I want to be right where they are at. I don't just see fitness as working out, I see it as a way of life.
BB Accomplishments:
As a power lifter, I set 4 American and world records at the age of 15, placed first during state championships, placed 3rd in my first couples bodybuilding contest and 1st in my overall division.

Goal (Long):
I am a personal trainer and aerobics instructor, and also a full time student to FINALLY finish my kinesiology degree. I started power lifting and bodybuilding at age 15. I have taken a long break to get married and have children, but now I'm ready to get back into competitions. My oldest is 6, and my youngest turned 1 at the beginning of August. I really want to get into more bodybuilding or figure contests and put on more muscle, but with being out of the loop for so long I feel a little lost (YES, even as a personal trainer!). I really need my arms to grow...seems hard for me for some reason. So much has changed, and with being a trainer I feel I should know what I need to do...just a little confused I guess, but it can happen :) I have helped so many others achieve their goals, but I have a hard time taking my own advice for some reason. I guess it's because I am definitely my own worst critic! However, I'm stronged willed and ready to take on anything!! Oh...and I REALLY want to get into fitness modeling a lot more. I'm doing minor things right now, but ready for that next step!
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 5 lb

I don't mind the whole MRE thing, they are getting better! I love the amount of nutrition in them if ya wanna get big. I remember being in NTC when I was in the Infantry, we would be out in the desert for 45-60 days at a time. Eatin those MREs made me huge, I would always come back 15-20 lbs heavier and alot of it would be in my calves. I carried on average 120lb rucksack. I kinda miss it though.
The MRE's are definately a butt load of calories. I ate too many of them one day, 5 to be exact, and I ended up with the worst stomach cramps in the world, buckled over and everything! Sucked because we were out in NTC in Death Valley in July!
