I want to look so good that I can see how sexy my hubby thinks I am in his eyes every time he looks at me.
Goal (Long):
I want to improve my overall health and physical appearance. I want to be strong and feminine. I am not too concerned about my weight (or so I think) so long as I have lean muscle and it looks good.
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
I wouldn't say I really have a favorite, but I use a precore elliptical because I have some major restrictions due to my left knee right now (but I am working on changing that)
I haven't had much time for bodyspace lately. I am still taking my progress pictures and I am still hitting the gym 4-5 days a week. I am seeing some pretty good gains in my strength. My bench has gone up considerably, and three weeks ago I started doing the same chest routine as my husband. I...
My diet is mainly 200g protein per day, and fruits, veggies, and complex carbs for half the week, then low carbs (carbs from veggies only) the other half. I try to stay as clean as possible, but if I don't do cardio, I put on weight. I try to burn 500-600 calories per session. I've been burning less for the past week, but plan to ramp it up again.
Thanks, she works extremely hard. You can accomplish anything you want, it's just a matter of how bad do you want it, and finding out what works best for you
Hey girl! Thanks for checkin in on me :) Things are going great for me...but I'll be meeting with my trainer tomarrow so we'll see what he thinks LOL!! I'm happy to hear you're back on track, we all slip up but as long as ya get back in the game...its all good!!!
On the Bodyspace main page, the majority of the more successful people have positive go-getter monikers...(smile)YOU ARE MORE THAN "chubbychick", YOU ARE_________? Names have a way of becoming a self fulfilling prophecy. (Smiles), have a great day!
Don't worry so much about the scales. You are gaining muscle. Your weight loss numbers will seem not to move but you will be dropping bodyfat. Best way to tell is by getting yourself a pair of future jeans and squeezing into them every two weeks and see how easliy they go on. Have a good work day.
i hear ya on chicken, I got tired of it and started eating a lot of fish. Its just hard to get past the taste esp salmon(yuck). Any ways good luck with ur goals.
YES to all the '?'s. Hey - ur yahoo said ur not using that email address anymore but checking. Did U get it? Sent this a.m. Personal training - oh yes. I like results, but protect my body. Got better results AFTER injuries and surgeries... *smile*
Hey Lady "T"! Sorry about the delay, but I did send U an email with the info. about my doctor. I personally recommend checking him out. I didn't "like" him at first, but he has been 100% correct about everything... as long I did what he said. Well, except they didn't think I'd hit the stage in only 9 months post-op. I friggin' shocked ME with 10 months post-op placing a National stage. Hahhh HAH. Comeback was so sweet. Talk Later... *smile*
I responded to your PM. Also thanks for the add. I would also suggest that you both lift as heavy as you can. The more lean muscle mass, the more fat is burned.
