How I Started:
My mother went to the gym all of the time, while I would go cross-country running with my father. After a while, one of my male friends introduced me to strength training. I studied its importance and have steadily increased workout intensity this past school year.
Why I Love It:
I love seeing the shocked looks of the other women at the gym when I lift 3 or 4 times as much as they do.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have to constantly convince myself that exercise is important. I have a massively hectic schedule so motivation is VERY important for me.

Goal (Long):
I want to finally devote myself to a fitness program. For the past year or so, I've been working out semi-regularly, transitioning from a cardio-only workout to cardio-weights, and then finally an exclusive weights workout. I'm looking to find a balance between the two. In the future, I want to work as a trainer or a nutrition specialist, and inspire others to lean up. I am going to finally make that transition from "skinny girl" to "buff girl".
