Overall Goal: My goal is to loose 100 pounds by the time I turn 40 years old, in July 2010. I also want to transform my body and have more of an athletic, body building look.
Fit Status:
Sticking to my plan is hard. I workout 3 or 4 days, then miss weeks. I can't seem to find my motivation or discipline.
I will be 40 years old in July 2010 and I have realized that if I don't get control of my weight and my health I will spend my 40's like I did my 30's, empty, no excitement, and no adventure. I want my 40's to be full of life and outdoor activity. I want to spend my time doing things I would have never dreamed of. When I was in my 20's I was in the Army and I had alot of fun and I was surprised that my body was able to do the running and other activity. I want to get that feeling back, that feeling of no limits and confidence!
Why I Love It:
At this point I can't say that I love it, but I hope I grow to love it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at my before pictures, that is enough to make me want to do something about it!!!
BB Accomplishments:
It is an accomplishment for me to stay motivated and focused on a daily basis.

This member inspires me because she did not let her age stop her! Being someone who is a bit older than the twenty year olds I look for women closer to my age who have had great success with getting in shape and body building. "Gerigineka" has definitely inspired me not to give up and to not let my age keep me from reaching my goals.
The month of May was really hectic for me. I was in training for 2 weeks and then when i returned from training I had so much work to catch up on I did not workout. After that I went on vacation, and I was trying to enjoy my vacation, so I didn't workout during that time either. Therefore...
slow is better than reverse! i am back at it, restricting what my arms won't take. doing much lower weights and many more reps. seems to be working out ok. glad to hear from you! be 40 in 2010? i just turned 48 in june. depressing.
how is your progress? i'm hoping good news! soon there will be less of you in your profile pic so the people on either side of you will fit it! remember, here the biggest losers are the biggest sucesses!
that's good news! one you start seeing the results, you will be infected! i on the other hand tore up my left arm last week so i can't work out for a while. this drives me insane, but got to take time off again, but i refuse to quit and give up!
Hey Christine,
Keep up the great work man. Looks like your getting closer to your goal too. If you ever have any questions feel free to ask. I lost about 80 lbs before I started on my quest to gain back some muscle and am now a FT so if you need any help, just ask.
