Overall Goal: I want to trim down and musclize my fat ass and legs!!!
Fit Status:
Been out of the loop. Trying to get back on track. Needing inspiration. Needing to know when I do something, I'm going to see results I want

When I Started:
Mar, 2008
How I Started:
I started off working out at home with my little weight bench. I wanted to tone my arms, then decided to work a little on my butt and legs. I started lifting light weights in March '08, just kind of messing around. After reading tons of info, I learned I could actually get rid of the cellulite I have. (I was always told it was impossible.) I've always looked pretty good from the front in a bikini; I want to look that good from the back!
Why I Love It:
It's a personal challenge. I feel really strong, both physically and mentally, when I work out. Plus, it relieves a LOT of stress! I like jamming to my tunes on my Ipod, too!
How I Stay Motivated:
It's difficult! I always WANT to work out, because I know how charged I feel afterward, but sometimes it is just impossible. I'm a single mom of two boys, both in sports, so I meet myself coming and going! I know I inspire my kids, though, when they see me working out!
BB Accomplishments:
I had gotten in to my size 4 jeans. I've been lifting heavy for the past 2 months and guess I gained muscle mass because now some of my jeans don't fit, or they're really tight in the legs and butt. :(

You have to push through those times when you feel like it's not changing and taking forever!! Trust me, you can lose the fat. If I can lose my cellulite...anyone can!! Don't give up!!! :)
For ultimate leanness, drop it altogether... but for variety it doesn't hurt to have it once or twice a week... I just wouldn't be doing it everyday, especially the bread. Dairy if it's low fat or nonfat, fine 3 times a week until you feel you are not making progress.
The only thing I know to be true and work is eating completely clean--I had no cheats for 19 weeks. And kicked my butt in the gym--you will get there. Be consistent my friend!
That's so funny, my wife's a teacher and she is going through the same thing. If it isn't standardized tests it's the frustrating end of school. Hang tough, 1st graders can be a handful at the end of the year (as I hear daily...lol) and be ready to kill it this summer! Good luck...bring it
Heavy = as much as humanly possible. I lift as heavy as I can. Everytime for legs. HIIT is high intensity interval training. For example, I'd get on the treadmill and warm up about 5 min. I would take the incline to a level 9 and run at a lv 9 for 30 sec, then recover for 1 min. I'd do that 10 times.
Hey girl! I lift legs 2x a week, one being a heavy glute/ham day, the other being a plyo quad/ham/glute day that is lighter on the resistance. I also do HIIT 1-2x a week hill sprints. That combined with the right nutrition zapped the fat and cellulite off my legs! Let me know if you have more questions!

Hey girl, protein drinks are great. I would stick to no more than 2-3 a day. Whole food is a better bet for leaning out and health but shakes are a great way to get your protein in. Send me your age, height, weight and bodyfat % if you know it in a private message and i will give you approx. what you should eat in a day as guidance.
I'm a social butterfly so I have be-friended a lot of trainers on my journey (keeps me from having to hire them) so I get great tips and free butt kickings. So I'll pass on everything I can and be of as much help as I can. Stay in touch.
If they were any closer I wouldn't cardio to get my heart rate up! LOL
If you start feeling lower back pain, make sure you keeping your abs tight and the natural curve of the spine. Don't let those shoulders roll forward. Just like deads or squats. That will help take pressure off of your lower back.
Glad those leg curls are doing the job. Hey, to change it up even more try varying your toe position. Toes pointed out, then in, then neutral. That will isolate different parts of the hamstring. Oh by the way, you look gorgeous.
well get your sexy ass in the gym and enjoy yourself there is nothing better than walkin out of the gym stumbling cause you can barely walk. GREAT FEELIng have fun
Doing good...I also am impatient to lose that last fat in my behind and thighs. It's the last to go. Trust me. It will come. When you least expect it, it will start melting off. Keep eating clean and doing what you can in exercise. Don't forget the lunges and squats!! :)
Lost?!! You are looking good! Don't give up! Concentrate on the clean eating and hitting the gym. It will come...Trust me. Look at my before and now pics for inspiration!!! I hit a low period too, but just kept on keeping on!! Go, girl!!!
