When I Started: Apr, 2004
How I Started: After Serving 4 yrs in the Military, I came back to the civilian world and lost all of my fitness habits. Well, I didnt really have any fitness habits... even when I was in the corps. I was just running 3 times a week because i had to. Anyways... I was depressed at the time because i didn't know what my life was going to be after the military. I became an Emotional Eater and within 3 months, my weight sky rocketed from 145 lbs to 193 lbs. Luckily, one of my good friend was into bodybuilding. Started reading more about it and started getting results. That was late 2002 I believe. I didnt get serious into it till late 2005.
Why I Love It: I love Bodybuilding because it gives me a high like no other... Mentally, physically and spiritually. I use to hate working out certain body parts of my body, even doing cardio. But now, I love doing it all.
How I Stay Motivated: Music, lots of music on my IPOD. Gains in my performance and my appearance.

Before I started my fitness/bodybuilding venture. I already started working out on and off but didnt really knew what I was doing.  Still slowly cutting. Managed to maintain my weight. Diet is kinda hard on me right now but trying to get used to it.

Recently, I have been trying to cut down and for some odd reason I still continued to keep lifting heavy. Bad decision because while doing dead lift a couple of weeks ago, I pulled some muscle in my lower back. It healed for a week till my next back work where i still was doing heavy on DB rows...
