When I Started: Oct, 1999
How I Started: A friend of mine asked me to workout with him at 4. I said I don't get off work until 4. He said "A.M." I hung up! He called back, we started the next day, he quit a week later and I'm still at it!
Why I Love It: Cause it's all me. It's my time, me doing MY thing on MY terms. It's the one thing I can truly call MINE, the successes AND failures.
How I Stay Motivated: I don't know, I just do. I guess because it's something I love, I don't have to try to stay motivated, it's just always there.

My personal trainer, Gina Aliotti is a great motivator and inspiration. It's incredible to watch someone of her caliber daily do 'her' thang, it makes me push my goals, workouts, cardio, diet further than I would had I never met her. It's one thing to see a person in the gym but when they're outside the iron garden and still 100% locked on, I'M IMPRESSED!
BB Accomplishments: Competing in 2004 in the ABA winning the Novice overall, 2 novice Tall and 2 second place Open titles.

Ok, here they are. The bad of the bad. Wow, it's amazing what happens when you lose focus of your goals. Excuse my expression, I HATE photos on demand. This is the starting point of my 8 month training plan w/Gina Aliotti.  In an effort to meet the new judging criteria, I have to seriously UNDER POSE....NO FUN BUT GETS THE JOB DONE.

Goals:
Main Goal: Compete
Goal (Short): Next weeks are a heavier training cycle...go heavy or go home! =)
Goal (Long): Goal Revised now...fine tuning the details to bring a more complete, slightly less muscular but better conditioned physique to the stage. Now that I've completed my goal for '08, I look ahead to '09's competition Season. I plan on beginning the season at the Emerald Cup in Washington, New York City, and hopefully the Master's Nationals in July. We'll see.... I have a lot of support from family and friends and a great trainer/nutritionist. It should be quite a challenge moving away from my home gym this summer but it's not the location that makes the athlete... While initially I couldn't care less about earning a Pro Figure Card...now that I've been toying with the idea for about 6 months...why not?! =) My areas of emphasis for the off season: lower lats, need some length on my wings, calf development and more conditioning without adding bulk. Want to bring a tighter package. See you in '09!! XOXO

Hey!! I'm back for a second. I had a great birthday thanks to my wonderful husband! We saw Kenny Chesney in concert then took off for a wonderful weekend in the mountains. It was such a relaxing weekend, wish everyday could be like that.

I remember seeing you at the competition here in San Diego!! It was the first one I had ever been to and although there were a lot of people there in top shape, you stood out. You looked great!
