When I Started:
Jul, 2008
How I Started:
I always ate what I like and remained fit "looking" (140-143# without effort) because I was very active. Approaching 40 next year and now I have to gain back lost muscle to do it.
Why I Love It:
I like making my husband interested with just a glance, promoting a postive self image/esteem and making our kiddos proud of their mama!
How I Stay Motivated:
See above! :) My husband loves to brag of my swimsuit modeling days. I always follow with "OH THAT WAS LONG AGO!" because I am out of shape now. I want that figure back (was 130#) if not a better one and try not to freak on the weight part.
BB Accomplishments:
Getting started is an accomplishment! 9/7/08 initial goal met. Gotta walk to run!

I died when I saw reality...loss of muscle tone for flab...in these beach photos. Obviously my self image was not the same as the camera's. Glad I didn't see until after the wedding! (144#) Yikes!

Goal (Long):
I lost most of my postive self image/self esteem when going through divorce (2004) after being married 15 years, growing up together, building assets and having two children! I felt so worthless because I had done all I could but it just wasn't good enough! I had to go through this grieving process (4 years worth!) to truly move forward. The day I got remarried (June 08) I finally completed that grieving process. (My ex even attended our wedding since we remain great friends to this day). My new husband went through quite a different sort of divorce 5 years ago.
I never thought I could have a partner like this! We have so much fun together even watching movies at home with our 3 children and cat. We had our extravagant honeymoon and indulged in every way imaginable but now it back to reality. We are very supportive of each other and are very excited to watch our bodies change over the months. We look forward to being in the best shape we have ever been in as we approach 40! Any weekly diet plans or suggestions would be great since that is where we are bored most. I am also a typical nurse who rarely takes meds for a headache so would love to hear about any supplements you think I should use and WHY. Thank you ahead of time! :) Chickee

Started July 28th and today is September 7th! Nakey I weigh 137.0 (I weigh myself each morning) but by 2:30pm when I got measured I was 139.0 fed and fully clothed. Based on 139.0 I have lost 11 pounds of fat and gained 10 pounds of muscle!
Thanks, girl! I appreciate the motivation!! You're looking great as well. I think I'm with you on the moderation stuff ...I seem to do better if I can have a tiny bit here and there. When I wait, I just wanna eat the whole bag in one sitting!! lol

No prob - keep up the great work. You have done very well for yourself. Just keep things in perspective and outline some goals for yourself and the rest will be easy ;-)
