When I Started: Nov, 1998
How I Started: I began lifting in 1998 after turning 31 and being dissatisfied with my overall health and lifestyle. At the time FAPs were very popular and I set a goal to compete in Fitness America. As I continued to make gains in size I changed my focus to bodybuilding competitions since I felt that if I was going to train I might as well go all the way.
Why I Love It: I love the dedication, commitment mental focus and discipline it takes to diet train and compete which only a small percentage of the population has the ability to do. I love the physical victories accomplished with training hard.
How I Stay Motivated: I keep a photo of myself in competiton condition on the fridge and keep my goals in the forefront of my mind, realizing that I can look that way again.
BB Accomplishments: After years of being out of shape making the decision to get in shape and join the fabulous world of bodybuilding by competing in a show. I had no experience and through extensive research and training won the novice, lightweight and overall earning the MD State Bodybuilding Championship in my first show.

Main Goal: Gain Muscle
Goal (Short): I want to gain 10-15 pounds of pure muscle mass to regain the competition bod I once had.
Goal (Long): I want to increase my overall muscle size, decrease by bodyfat by 9% and hopefully compete again in the near future.
Weight Goal: I want to GAIN 15 lb
Bodyfat Goal: 7%
