I worked out in my early 20s, but did more cardio than weights. After having my 4th daughter, i had gained too much weight and it was a turning point for me when i couldn't fit into any of my clothes and cholesterol was high. It was time to get serious and find a program that made sense. Sick of the yo yo game throughout my life. TIRED OF BEING THE FAT GIRL! I found out about the Body for Life program and it totally changed my life! Now look at me!
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel good and its ME time. I know I'm doing my body good. I love seeing my muscles grow and the definition getting better and better. I want my kids to be proud of their healthy mommy :) I want to live a long healthy life God willing.
How I Stay Motivated:
Imagining how i will look if i keep working out and eating clean. I want to be super sexy for my husband :) My health and energy. Looking at other great inner and outer transformations :) Watching myself transform. Reading others great blogs too! Pictures don't lie! Most importantly MY KIDS AND HUSBAND :)

EEEKKK, that is really me. Weighed 180lbs here. This is after having my 4th daughter a month afterwards (July 2006). I wasn't about to wear a bikini and did not want to ever wear one!! Really ROUND. Didn't start working out till later.
Ow, a little too much going on back there...lol. Offseason :D
Weigh in around 117-120lbs (8-10% bf) in season and about 130-135lbs (15-18% bf)off season. Build mass and work on my symmetry. Shoulders and the ham/glute tie in are my main focuses! I eventually want to get certified as a personal trainer :)
I went ahead and took new measurements today as well as my bodyfat. Some measurements are up and some are DOWN. I'm really excited about my calves going up :) Those suckers are STUBBORN! I didn't get to take my BF measurements when i first started the Extreme Fat Destruction plan by Stevep78...
Hey Chicana!! Good to hear from you. I've been pretty good. I relocated again for work. I'm in San Antonio, TX now for a while. It wasn't hard choosing you as one of the members who inspire me. Your dedication and drive is catching and addictive. Plus, you're an absolute GODDESS!! How could anyone NOT find you inspiring???
I saw all the welcome backs for you. I have been gone a while myself. You are very welcomed. I am doing good. I have exercised and ate right for the past 9 weeks. So I am feeling pretty good. I see little changes but know I must not give up.
Thank you for being such a great inspiration! What are you up to? I need to clean up my diet and smarten up. I'm feeling so fat and depressed now. I gained 15 lbs since my competition and it doesn't feel comfortable!
did not get to train thursday and i want get to train tonight stood a 24 hour non sleeping post last night the went to the doctor at 11:30 today did not get to lay down until about 1:00 just barely waking up and I have not had one glass of water all day. Got to replinish everything maybe tomorrow after noon or evening.
Oh hey Sandra how've you been? I hope everything is doing very well with you. You know i guess that i never thank you for your advise and recommendation so here i am to thank you. ^_^ It really helped me a lot and still working as hard as i can ;-).
Alright miss you have an excellent week.
Regards.
Yeah, diet is the hardest, Sandra; I usually just add in more cardio to compensate so that I can keep eating what I want, if trying to lose fat. Not going to cut it anymore though. Yeah, this year was worth taking off. I am psyched for next year though and my debut competitions! ~Rosie
