How I Started:
I worked with someone who lifted, got inspired by him.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel good! It keeps me busy and out of trouble. At one point in my life I was in a very unhappy situation, and I was pushing 140lbs. Thank God I eliminated that stress in my life, and got back down to a reasonable 120lbs. Now I want to make it "lean and mean"! I am at 113 and working toward that definition in my muscles! I love my gym and am glad I signed up. Wintertime is depressing to begin with, and to work out at home would be difficult as far as getting motivated. Getting out and enjoying being with everyone else who wants to look great is the best motivator!
How I Stay Motivated:
I read fitness magazines. The photos always make me want to work harder to get a body like that!

I want to get to a point where I look good enough to consider competing. I know this will take a lot of hard work, but I am up for the challenge!
Goal (Long):
I need to lose the belly, tighten the abs to a nice 6-pack. My skinny thighs need beefing up (I'm already leg pressing more than I ever thought I could). The v-taper needs to grow. Work those lats!! And the flat ass? It WILL BE ROUND! I will turn some heads at my Christmas party, but just wait for the beach party next summer! LOOK OUT! I am psyched! . . . I love how I feel after a great workout.

About 2 months into serious training.  Have had to fight off 2 colds, so some setbacks there.  Afraid of getting stale in my workout!  Wish I could afford a trainer.  Going to the gym today to work the bi's and tri's.  I guess I'll try to find a good workout for them here, maybe...
