How I Started:
I was always a super skinny kid and had some health problems when I was younger, so I decided to try and change that in college.
Why I Love It:
I love seeing results and working hard towards a goal.
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm a huge competitor and get motivated by others who put the time in and have done well. I also have a huge intrinsic motivation to take care of my health and try to stay as fit as possible
Since I can't find any pics much older, we'll use this as a starting point.
Switched to rack pulls for a couple weeks and pulled 495 x 2 for the first time. Was pretty happy with it, so I thought I would put my back progress up. 217 lbs here.
I have always wanted to be a big guy and be proud enough to feel comfortable showing my body wherever I go. My long term goal is to be 225 lbs with 8% bodyfat or lower. I have a high metabolism and it has been very hard for me to put on weight, but I'll get there eventually =).
I am also still in school which takes up a great amount of my time. So as much as I regret to say, working on my physique has to come second for a few more years. I am however working on ways to increase the efficiency of my workouts and find supplements to maximize my efforts.
Recently I have been a little too lax in my workout regiment for my taste, so I'm hopping to connect with some others to help keep me motivated and on track. With that said, good luck to all and I can't wait to see where we are months from now!
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
I love playing soccer and other sports more than most things in this world, however, as I'm getting older it is seemingly harder to pull people together to play. I have never been a big fan of running but it seems my attitude is going to have to change as I watch my metabolism slow over the years. Do you monitor your heart rate while doing cardio?
training is going great. im slowly putting mass on everywhere..especially my legs which i have struggled with for so long. calves still need work but im wearing shorts today and showing em off! LOL.

If I can get back to 200 lbs, I'll be happy with that.

Thanks, man! I'm actually putting on a little fat, which sucks. But nothing I can't burn off.
Let me know if you have some secrets for lats. That's one place I'm lacking right now.
By the way, how far away are you from 225 lbs. now? Jeez!
