I started working out as a way to relieve stress in medical school. After running the Seattle Marathon, I thought I should "look" better for being in such great cardiovascular shape. So I incorporated weights and a cleaner diet, after much research. Then people started asking, "Do you compete?". So, I thought that maybe I should . . . and after my first show, I was hooked! :)
My goal is to stay fit and healthy as the mother of three and return to the National figure stage in Spring 2008!
Goal (Long):
After delivering my third child in Novemeber of 2006, I whipped myself back into shape and got on the National Figure Stage in NY (Team U) and took 4th in my division. After taking this winter to make improvements on my physique, and with a new and improved nutritional program, I plan to compete at the Jr USA's in North Carolina in the early spring of 2008. How's diet and training coming? Are you getting excited for Jr's? I just had my show on Saturday. I won my height class! I will be going to Natural USA's for my next show in October!
No, not competing. I am qualified, but I have decided to just compete in the NANBF shows for right now. I have a few friends competing, so I am there to support and cheer them on! I will definately say "hi" if I see you. I am sure that you will look awesome!
I checked out your website, very nice! Great competition pictures, amazing back! I am also a "horse" girl too.. Actually on my way to a riding lesson tonight. I have been on horses since I was 5! If you make it out to Jr. Nationals, my friend is competing, and I will be there to watch!
