How I Started:
I've been working out in the weight room off and on for years, but decided it was time to get serious.
Why I Love It:
It keeps my mind fresh and my body functioning in optimum condition. It just feels good to look and feel better daily and to know I'm improving the overall quality of my life one rep at a time.
How I Stay Motivated:
I choose to be a positive and healthy role model for my kids. I need to lead by example, and show them the world outside the TV and video games.
BB Accomplishments:
None, but I am a 1st degree black belt in Kuk Sool Won, working on my Ph.D. in Health Psychology, and an indepedent associate for USANA Health Sciences.
Live healthier so that I can enjoy life with my family and be a positive role model for those I care about.
Goal (Long):
I want to lose 15 lbs of fat while getting my body fat % down to about 10-15% and gaining lean mass at the same time. The bigger the waist, the sooner you die, so I want to live longer with a smaller waistline and a healthier heart.
