How I Started:
BodyBuilding.com gave me the inspiration and the knowledge
Why I Love It:
The strength and energy it gives me is amazing and when my life feels like its spinning out of control my body is something i still control.
How I Stay Motivated:
Really I am a very lucky girl. I have moral support from a wonderful man who goes to the gym every day and gives it 100%. Matt (my boyfriend) always pushes me to lift harder. He has a lot of faith in me. He is that boost that I need when I am not giving myself enough credit. I have a lot of respect for the transformation he has made with his body. That in itself is a huge motivation for me. So basically having goals, a wonderful better half and taking progress photos to see how my body is transforming keeps me going back every day for more!

I am not here to meet boys or look pretty. I am here for motivation so that i can meet my goals. I want to be lean and muscular.
Goal (Long):
I have struggled all of my life with a fear of gaining weight because obesity runs in my family. I was the cardio queen starting at the age of fourteen. I managed to stay lean and toned with daily runs or rollerblading. 2006 at the age of 23 I noticed my body changing. Nothing was firm anymore. That definition I had on my legs had left sometime in the middle of the night without even leaving a Dear John. My butt deflated and dimples started moving in. My triceps jiggled if the wind hit them right. Last year (2007) I found this site and was amazed at how the figure competitors looked. I read all of the women transformations and they all gave me so much inspiration. I knew I needed to change my diet and my workout to get the results all of these women had gotten. The year of 2007 I changed my workout and I started taking whey. I had a problem, my calories were at 1200 while I was trying to gain muscle at the weight of 110 pounds. So basically I was starving myself and going on occasional binges (McDonalds, cookies, Ice Cream, whatever I could get my hands on really). I was so afraid of gaining weight my inner Paris Hilton was screaming “no skinny jeans are in so you must lose weight”. SO I recently kicked my inner Paris to the curb and I am here to make a true commitment to myself. I am going to look the best I have ever looked in my life. I am going to be muscular and lean!
