How I Started:
I lifted in high school, but was running 40-60 miles a week for track and cross country so I couldn't add bulk. When I started teaching 9th graders, running got hard and adding bulk got easy, so I started lifting again.
Why I Love It:
I teach 14 year olds. Working out is necessary to relieve the ridiculous stress, and it makes it clear to them not to get in my face. That comes in handier than it should.
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep teaching, so I have to keep lifting.
BB Accomplishments:
Increased Bench Press from 135 to 195 in 6 months, with no supplements or plan.
