Tired of looking bad. Realized one day my life could depend on my conditioning, so needed to change. In 2009 I will hit my 20 year anniversary, hope to go to Hawaii for it and I want to look good on the beach.
Why I Love It:
When I have worked out in the past I loved how it felt to be tight and in shape. I have not lifted or done regular exercise for about 1 and 1/2 years.
How I Stay Motivated:
Hopefully this will help. I figure if I put it out there it will give me more incentive to keep on track. I am keeping my face and some information private due to my career and negativity from people I know. I plan to reach my goals and then those nay sayers will not have anything to be negative about. I don't know how much muscle I will be able to gain due to my age, but would love to hear from people with simular age and goals to see what is the best rout to take.

out of shape, tired all the time. need to change.
I dropped from 23% to 17% bodyfat so far. looking for 10%
Well last wednesday my wagon hit a rock in the road and I fell off. I missed my workouts on Thursday and Friday and since Valentines day my diet took a nose dive into a soda pop and sugar filled hell. I am dedicated to climbing back on the wagon and continuing my journey. So far this has been...
I just thought that I would drop you a line to tell you that my wife, and your friend (bodyspace: judimax) is having a birthday on Saturday and is turning 48. I think she looks fantastic for not only 48 but for any age, but then again I am biased. If you get a chance she would be surprised (and love it) if you would drop by and wish her a Happy Birthday.
It`s a place in Philly call Champ phone#215 464-5876.I don`t know if they ship, but I`M sure they would tell you were you could get it. It sits low so you can squat down real low,so you hit ham and back(which I like also)
I wish he would of stayed. That is a big bummer. Hey, thanks but that butt is not even close. LOL!! Good luck on your goal. I am sure you will make it.
If the doc recommends T, make sure you get the shots...not the gel or patch. That being said, tell him/her you want weekly shots or you'll roller coaster all over the place. Learned that the hard way. On the T, the fat literally fell off with minimal exercise. You can get pretty fit just taking the stuff. The only thing you have to worry about at that point is gynocomastia. Make sure he gives you an anti-estrogen as well. From your photo, you don't have far to go anyway...good luck.
ohhhhhhhh you are so sweet thanks for the awesome compliments, but I do have work to do on this ol' body. I wanna be more cut like I was last summer. Not quite ready for bikini season yet! Have a great day!
I'm glad that my horrible sense of humor done you some good. Nothing like a good pick me up than a giggle. Hope all is well. Best of luck with your goals.
hey there thanks for the anniversary wishes, gonna party big time, ha! Then it's kickin' my ass time when I get back, spring and summer are just around the corner! Have a great weekend and HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
It's a good thing that I saw you have been talking to my hubby (Capt Ahab) because I was going to take you to task about age and building muscle. If a 60 yr old can change so can you and I hope that you will keep yourself motivated by seeing the changes to him and to all the others on BB.com that have made super body transformations. Keep safe.
Thank you very much for those way too kind words. The photo shoot was kind of embarrassing and kind of cool all at the same time. It was the first time I had to pose without my shirt on in front of others (fellow gym members) and I didn’t know how it would be viewed or received. Then they did pics of my wife followed by the both of us working out. Also, I have a whole new respect for people who pose for photo shoots now.
Thank you very much for your kind words. You are right about me looking leaner now. When I ended the 3 month Body for Life Challenge I started at 36% and finished at about 10 to 12 % bodyfat. After the next 9 months of trying various workout routines and nutritional regimes I am now at about 6 to 7% bodyfat and am still gaining lean muscle.
