How I Started:
After starting and failing so many times-on December 22nd after leaving my endocrinology doctors appointment I made a personal commitment to myself to start slow and set realistic goals. I did not want to become another member of my family with diabetes.
Why I Love It:
I don't love it but I am starting to like it more. I feel energized all day afterwards. I feel like I am working towards building my dream body.
How I Stay Motivated:
Feeling good about myself. Increasing my self-confidence. Most importantly, the desire to be medically healthy.

Goal (Long):
My goal is to lose body fat and be in the healthy range...overall fitness goal is to shed 30 pounds within 6 months. My overall health goal is to not have to depend on Metformin anymore for my insulin resistance condition...I am focusing on eating healthy and exercising to maintain a healthy,normal, prescription drug-free lifestyle...and of course I would be lying if I did not mention I want to look good in my clothes! LOL
I am so excited to be a part of the Team Scivation training program. I am so looking forward to following every detail so that I can achieve the fat loss I have been after for so long. I have just ordered the recommended supplements and went grocery shopping for all the clean food items I am...
Sundays are my real "rest" days when it comes to exercise. I usually start with a 14 minute stretch and limber dvd followed by an 11 minute abs workout before church. Later in the day-I take a 30 minute stroll around my apartment complex to wind down.

I really do enjoy the program. It's great! Good calorie burning, muscle building workouts with a detailed nutrition program to supplement the workouts. You should strongly consider it. Good luck
