How I Started:
A friend from work gave me an old solo flex type machine. I put it in my basement and started after work every night. Then I had a friend who had been into lifting for a few years. We workout together and I had to miss work becuase I was so Sore. Ever since then it has been an addiction

I am back on the space sorry for being MIA for the last half of the year. I have had a crazy 2nd half of 2008 and am looking forward to a prosperous 2009. I lost my job in October and ventured out on my own business. I have a Kiosk in the mall...
Well I had to figure what works for me bro. Mon I do chest,abs, quads; Tues, back n calves; Wed is off day, usually run or swim; Thurs, shoulders and biceps; Friday, light chest, triceps, squats. I try n do at least 50 reps of ab exercises at the end of every workout too. Thats a summarized version, whats ur workout look like?
I have bro, thx for compliment, finally found a diet/ workout schedule that works for me. For me its Mon/Tues/off/Thur/Fri with 2 days of cardio a week. How are things on ur end?

I've been having the dietary lapses like you are having. And my schedule has me struggling to make my workouts 3 times a week. I gotta do better.
I'm no expert, obviously, but the harder I lift, the better I seem to do with my diet. Missing the workouts or just doing cardio causes me to blow off the good eating habits. I'd recommend that you NOT backoff of your weights to focus on diet. Still, opinions are like @$$holes, everybody has one. I guess you could say I just showed my @$$. lol

Well, good luck with both your business and the boxing. You are obviously a tough guy. I was always the littlest kid in the class, so I could have been pretty fiesty if I had been picked on and had to fight or run. But I learned at a very young age that I had the power of persuasion and so I learned to talk my way outa almost any situation. In hindsight, I wish I had gotten my ass kicked a few times and learned to fight.
just do what you gotta do bro, that is all! As for me, my routine is the same: legs, push, pull, rest. But now I am trying to incorporate more cardio into it! How about you? Keep me posted!

I like your longterm goal. I'm not in this to compete, either, tho I admire and respect those who do. I'm in this for more and better sex (w/wife of course). I also want below 12% bf.
Chad, your progress is looking great. You probably should update your body stats. I;m sure your arms are bigger than 15" and your waist cant be 40" anymore. You dont show much leg so I cant say. Boast on yourf accomplishments cause you;re looking great.

I started the year at 15.1% bf and I am trying to take it down slowly to consrve LBM so it is taking a while. I think the upper ones are starting to peek out so that is encuraging!
