I started working out in high school but really fell in love with bodybuilding by going to a small local "muscle head" gym, where a lot of old school bodybuilders and power lifters worked out. By being in that environment it really sparked by passion to get bigger and more muscular.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because it allows me to take out all my stresses of the work day by doing something positive and beneficial to me. It's my so called personal therapy. I also love being able to make personal gains and to have others notice when I've been making them. Just the gym environment in general inspires me. I also love to help others by giving them advice when they ask me for it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm generally pretty motivated to begin with, so it doesn't take much. I just have to get off my ass and make it happen if I'm feeling like I'm dragging. I alway feel so much better when I'm walking out the door after a kick ass workout, than I ever could have riding the couch and watching t.v at home.
BB Accomplishments:
No competitions to date, although I'm not ruling them out completely.

My ultimate goal is to have a healthy and fit looking body that is symmetrical and lean with good size and definition. I always admired people with good bodys ever since I was younger. However, putting on size has never come easy, considering I was 155 lbs when I graduated high school, which is when I began working out. I'm now weighing in at over 200 lbs. which for me I feel has been a great personal achievement, because it didn't come easy. My goal in the present day is to continue pursuing the sport I love, which is bodybuilding, and refine my physique as much as possible by getting lean and decreasing body fat.
Well, I've upped my cardio to 4 times a week now from virtually nothing. I usually train in intervals either on the tread mill or the eliptical machine for no more than 35 minutes a session, due to the fact that I don't want to lose too much muscle mass. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not...
Great! Things for me are actually going pretty good. I took some more progress pics this morning, and I was like "OH SNAP" LOL! I think I can actually start seeing some abs!!! : )
I bet you have the cutest accent ever! My mom is from Mass. I always tease her because she takes R's our of words they belong in, and adds them to words they don't belong in, lol..She gave me a recipe the other day and wrote splender instead of splenda...lol
