My take on supplements.
Supplements will help you reach your goals, however, you must take into consideration that products will not make up for what you do in the kitchen and gym.
Here's my 2 cents on what I've taken:
MusclePharm: Specifically, their multivitamin and pre-workout formula are bar-none some of the greatest in the supplement market. I am actually currently supplementing with Armor-V and Combat powder. On a side note, Combat powder (Vanilla) has been the best tasting powder I've tried out of these companies.
Optimum Nutrition: These guys compete with MusclePharm and are a highly reputable supplement company. I have tried their new pre-workout, and found it to be the ONLY supplement that I did not enjoy. Their protein powders come in a variety of flavors and mixes (Isolate, Natural, Casein, etc etc..) I am currently supplementing with their Opti-Multi Vitamin.
Universal: An incredible company. If you ever wonder why the hell their products are so expensive, it's probably because of the reputation they've built as a company that is all about serious results. Besides their Uni-Liver BCAA's, I've taken their creatine blend 'Storm'. It works... but.. errr.. my bathroom flow was definitely affected by it.
Dymatize: Excellent tasting protein powder. Their intra-workout (Recoup) has almost identical nutrition profile compared to Scivation Xtend.
Controlled Labs: Mixed Greens Antioxidant powder as well as their multi-vitamin and fish-oil blend have been great additions to the armory.
SciVation: XTEND XTEND XTEND oh my gosh these guys have an incredible intra-workout mix.
Cellucor: Cor-Performance BCAA's have become a mighty rival. Look into HICA when you get the chance.
BSN: Have taken Hyper-FX and N.O. Xplode. Can't give much insight on either of these..however.. I'm pretty sure Hyper-FX is a fat burner pre-workout.
Purus Labs: Muscle Marinade. Don't play around with this preworkout. It is legit and was a definite game changer when it came to maintaining intensity whilst low-carbing.

You know those moments when you realize life is tough as nails? Put them all in a box and wait until you hit the gym. Grab a bar or a bell, and start cranking that spindle. Explode under pressure!
