Took some time off due to some injuries. Felt like this was the year to get serious again.
Why I Love It:
Feels good to be in the gym. I have a bunch of equipment at home but it is hard to find the motivation.
How I Stay Motivated:
Still having a major issue with staying motivated! The shoulder surgery really kicked my motivation in the ass. Depressing to go in the gym and not be able to do half of what I used to be able to do....
BUT.....starting in 2009 NO MATTER WHAT, I will find my motivation once again!!

What cg73 Is Up To:
Dec 22, 2009
cg73changed Weight from 215.8 lbs. to 222 lbs., a 6.2 lb. gain in 62 days
Get back to a point where I am injury free and can get into the gym
Goal (Long):
My main goal is to get my shoulder back in to better shape then it was before the surgery! Then on to losing the weight I have gained lately and get back on track for more weight loss.
Weird... as I am home for lunch I got the urge to do some bodyweight stuff. I hit 9 pullups (Personal record since the surgery), 12 Blast Strap pushups and 10 dips (Neither of those were personal bests, just felt like doing some). No idea what caused the urge but maybe I should make it...
Thanks, one thing I have found helps me is the pics, I look at the old ones and RUN to the gym, then when I see the progress it helps me stay feeling good about it. When are you going to post some pics hun?
Craig, A BIG congrats on the weight loss. 25 lbs in 6 months, that's awesome and it looks like a nice steady loss. It also looks like a very reasonable new goal, way to go my friend. Keep it up. p.s., I have gained 3 1/2 COOL HUH? 6 1/2 more to reach my 1rst goal. wish me luck.
