When I Started:
Apr, 2008
How I Started:
I realized I was gaining weight to quickly this year. None of my clothes fit and the weight was all fat cause I was not working out at the time.
Why I Love It:
I have worked out on and off since I was a chubby little girl. I have always know that there is no "secret" to keeping a fit, lean body. It has always been the same, since the Greeks invented strength training, "eat right, exercise more".
This is what I know and love. This is what I believe could change so many lives. Exercise feels good, I feel high afterwards.
How I Stay Motivated:
It hasn't been that hard to stay motivated, not wanting to be chubby is enough for me.
Wearing midriff revealing workout clothes and short shorts, help to remind me of how much more work I have to go, when I look in the mirror. I want to someday be wearing them and have someone ask me about how I am doing "it".
BB Accomplishments:
Working out every scheduled day since April 16th, 2008.
Training my first client and helping her lose a dress size.

Q. How do you know if you are working hard enough?
A. Try to kill yourself and if you not dead yet, try harder!

Spent some time building a very nice physique and have transformed my body....just a bit more muscle and then I will look like I BELONG on the stage!
Goal (Long):
I want to compete in at least 3 contests next year. Maybe, I am jumping the gun a bit. Most people train for at least 2 years before competing. But I think I can do it if I train full-time(2+ daily hours, 5-6 days weekly).
***Big Goals***
Get down to 14% by Mid-September.(Done!, 9% hydrostatic weighing)
Gain 5-10lbs of Muscle by March, while maintaining 14-16% bodyfat.
Be 7-8% for competition in the by July.
**Thru December 1st**
Do weight training 3-4 days per week.
And do plyo/cross training, 2 days per week.
**Diet**
Metabolic Diet(5 days low-carb, 2 days moderate carb)
Wish me luck!
Description: Training with Bands and Kettleball outside. I do this on top of my weight training to get a combined cardio strength element.

Description: My Trainer, Jeff Bass, torturing me. Hey, he's just doing what I pay him to do! Squat Thrust with a 10lb medicine ball. After I thrust it I chase after it trying to catch after 2 bounces.
This drill is killer.
Firstly, I went on vacation. That took up the entire month of september. I wasn't training or dieting just enjoying life with my love!
Second, I returned and got right back into training. I have more fat on me becauseĀ I am building up and there is nothing really exciting to talk about...
You're welcome! You definetly will do that. RIght now I'm just focusing on overall body strength and fitness. I love to run! So I'm looking on ways to improve my half marathon time (I'm doing another one in nov-dec of this year) This is my first time incorporating actual weight training days so wish me luck. better strength =better runs
hey there! Thanks! I am doing bbing....planning on doing a show in October....my first. Gonna bulk a few more weeks and then start the dieting....ugh. You're putting some nice size on your arms...looks good!
Thank you for the advice. Wow, less cardio! I keep think I am not doing enough- below belly button pooch! Thanks- I will stop feeling guilty! :) You look fantastic girl! Continued success to you!
forums are not very friendly. pEOPLE TEND TO BE ANONYMOUS, THEREFORE ANGRY, OVERLY OPINIONATED A HOLES....HERE WE KNOW EACH OTHER AND HAVE PERSONALITIES AND FEELINGS!!! IM GLAD YOU CAME BACK!
Loving the pic's...wow! I'm not really into competing, just living a healty lifestyle. Besides, I gotta a lot of work to do before I can step on that stage. But I'm loving the workouts right now..I'm sore but it feels good. You have come a long way...
It really depends on the guy...I know some guys that find my muscles scary, lol...but then a lot of guys find it attractive. I guess there's a difference between gym guys who have an appreciation for the leaner look or just your every day guys who are used to girls being a bit softer. *shrug*
Most of the time it's hard to gain muscle without gaining at least a little fat...it's just hard to cope with, especially if you know what your body looked like really lean!!
