From a very young age, to the time I was a senoir in high school I played sports year round. I played soccer in the fall, basketball in the winter, and ran track in the spring. Once I left high school I felt I still needed an activity to do. I realized bodybuilding would be a fun way to still compete and stay in shape. In 2007 I started working out three days a week for about six months straight and got great results, but after that it was only an on and off again thing. I was tired of being out of shape so now I am back in the gym everyday and loving it. I feel like my old self again.
Why I Love It:
I am a very competitive person. Without bodybuilding I would have no way to release my competitive... energy? I guess that is what you would call it. A lot of my friends workout for the wrong reason; and a lot of them roid. That kind of turned me away from bodybuilding but now I am back and with the workouts I do, I make roid-heads look like babies.
How I Stay Motivated:
Setting goals is the only way to stay motivated. I also look forward to the results I get. If I'm not getting results I know it is time to step up my training. I also stay motivated through music. I love to listen to rock or metal; anything fast that will make move to the music.
BB Accomplishments:
Nothing yet, but I'll keep you posted.

Today was a success! I completed a 2.5 hour chest workout and did interval training for cardio. I also feel it was a success because I found a legitimate workout partner. Up until now i have been working out on my own. I always feel that a workout partner will bring my motivation down if...
Thanks for the add and hope the shoulder heals well and quickly. Like you say..work on the other areas, be patient and will be as good as new soon. Andre
