How I Started:
I have always had to work out if I want to stay slim. I was very over weight at 16 years of age, and started running twice a day to get my weight down. In 2003 I started combining diet, cardio and strength training to try and get a leaner physique.
Why I Love It:
I love working out beacuse it is good for me, it is challanging and it helps me to feel better about myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
My desire to finally look good in a bathing suit keeps me going. I am not there yet, but my husband and kids are big water people, and always want me to join. They keep me motivated towards my goal.
BB Accomplishments:
I don't have too many yet.... Mostly road blocks, but I can't wait until I have some to post here.

I am 150. Need to reach 140 and major tone up / slim down. How yuck!!!

Goal (Long):
I am a muscular girl by nature, so run at the top end of a healthy weight for my height. I want to lose a good 10lbs. I have been fighting hard to get these 10lbs off for over a year. I have decreased my body fat %, but no inches or weight. This is good, but I want my hips, thighs and arms to be leaner. I want to look good in a bathing suit and feel good in anything I want to wear. I am interested in modeling, but am currently too heavy. I hope this site will help me to track my progress better and maybe even find support here.
