How I Started:
-became tired of being fat
-became tired of being embarassed of myself
-was tired of living in denial
-Girlfriend nagged me about it (which I now am glad she did, this pushed me over the edge to taking action)
Why I Love It:
I'm pretty much addicted. It is the best stress reliever. The best drug.
Going to the gym is the best part of my day. It is almost like being in a trance, a zone, something like that.
It took me a while to "get it" but now that I do...no turning back.
How I Stay Motivated:
-Seeing progress and hearing positive comments
-Seeing bigger, more ripped people than myself
-Knowning that I have a long way to go

Me at my worst. Just turned 20, weight approx 240 lbs. Sadly at this point in my life I was justifying my weight, and telling myself that I "wasn't THAT fat"
Sooo yeah I've made a lot of progress from where I started a year ago BUT I haven't really accomplished much of anything since last summer. I'm pretty down about it. My weight fluctates between 184 and 190 and hasn't gotten any lower in some time.
Ya I hear ya. Right now I am not taking anything either. I might take some sort of thermogenic in a couple months whenever I hit that plateau just to help push me over. I used Thermonex before and it worked well for me but I doubt ill take much more. I see you are on team #2 of the competition...
