Though I have always been active in the gym, it was at a local BB/Figure comp. I met Shannon Dey (and peers) who encouraged me to train for figure competition.
Why I Love It:
It keeps me in shape and "challenged."
How I Stay Motivated:
My husband John and my two boys Jacob 6 and Connor 3, along with friends who share the same fitness goals, "positive energy" and other moms who are encouraged to be fit "naturally":through clean eating and hard training. I love reading articles and success stories!
BB Accomplishments:
2006 Gulf Coast Bodybuilding and Fitness/Figure Championship in Fort Myers, FL winning overall open figure in front of all my family and friends.
