How I Started:
I found a personal trainer on Craigslist. I had lost 25lbs previously with a trainer. I was not as overweight. I moved and did not exercise again for lack of time. Now I am motivated to get fit and I love weight training with my trainer.
Why I Love It:
I love feeling sore. I love feeling strong. I love feeling muscles I did not know I had.
How I Stay Motivated:
I am huge, I feel awful when I don't exercise. Right now it is easy to just look in the mirror and say I don't want to look like this. I know that this transformation for me is going to be physical but primarily spiritual. I know that I can do all things in He who strenthens me. I feel in bondage to this weight and to my overeating and I want to overcome these strongholds in my life.
BB Accomplishments:
I can do a situp. I am awestruck by the way my body is responding to weight training. I get progressively strong and can do exercises with my trainer I did not think I would have done without losing more weight.
I want to take off 50lbs by 9/23/08. I have a bet with a girlfriend and if I win I get $2K.
Goal (Long):
I plan to eat clean. Eat 5-6 meals a day. Take my supplements. Follow my diet plan. Weight train 3X a week. Cardio 2X a week. Sleep more. Stress less.
I will prepare my meals and carefully have my groceries done so I can eat properly. I think I want to get down to 150 lbs. When I get these first 50lbs off I will 30lbs shy of my goal weight.
I feel so much better eating clean I can't imagine eating the crap I did before. this is truly becoming a lifestyle change.

What type of outfit do you usually wear when you workout? Why?
I am not trying to show the goods or pick anyone up at the gym. I don't wear make up. I don't want to look like a racoon. I wear tanks and tees and yoga pants/capris.
My trainers are great, one handles the exercise, the other the nutrition. The only time that is amusing is when I have to ask them embarassing questions. I am rather prudish. so when my supplements started to give me diaherria, I tried to avoid asking the obvious question. what could be...
