When I Started:
How I Started:
I started working out in a karate gym where we did hundreds of push ups, sit ups, jumping jacks, squats and a lot of exercises as a warm up. This led to more fitness and workouts that also included the aerobics and weight training. Weight training helps build better coordination and prevents injury during sports activities and games.
Why I Love It:
I have to work out to stay cool, relaxed and stress free. Lifting weights and working out is great when a long routine is mixed up a bit.
How I Stay Motivated:
I swim all about five miles a week and maybe more in the summer. I just like the water and beach and usually go way out in the ocean and get pushed around by huge waves. Its a lof a lot of fun.
I had used a trainer for an extra push. The trainer had me lifting really heavy weights that I would have never tried on my own. Trainer says weight lifting is good for swimming and other sports. I started lifting more weights and other sports activity became a bit easier to do. I'm pretty motivated because the weight program will help me improve sports and being very competitive I need to swim faster, play games better and win sports competitions, which actually are really good fun.
BB Accomplishments:
Improved bodybuilding this summer for league games.
