HOW I STARTED:

I have lifted at various times throughout my life. Really got in to it recently when I knew I needed to make some healthy lifestyle changes.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I really like the way I feel after a good workout. I enjoy knowing I am investing in my future by getting healthier so I can be around for my daughter as she gets older.

ON 100K Transformation Challenege final results and essay

    First of all, I would like to thank ON for sponsoring this transformation challenge. It truly has helped me to change my life for the better. Where I came from and where I am going

First off I am sick of the up and downs I have had with taking care of myself and being healthy in the past. This time I am going to drop the fat, build the muscle, and stay that way. I have been up and down with weight at my highest I weighed in at 320lbs... After gastric bypass, I dropped down to 165lbs at one point but with no muscle at all. In Jan when I started getting serious and entered the ON Transformation Challenge, I was at 235lbs. I am now closing in on 230lbs.

velvet5900 Hey Daniel! So sweet of you to check on me. I've been around, just not too much on the forums. I've had so much going on the past couple of weeks. I'm still working out and prepping for my show in June! I'm on a contest diet and trust me when I say that's enough to just make you pay attention to it, and it only lol!! I'm in the gym lifting 4 days a week and 40 mins. cardio 6 days a week. I'm still doing my Zumba classes, gotta continue to do those! ;o) How are things with you? Apr 11, 2012 6:45pm
