I always had an interest in working out, since I was about 13. Arm wrestling, pushups and things like that, and I always wanted to make sure I won, or I could do the most...It was just last year I discovered the sport of bodybuilding.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because it is an extreme challenge. I love to put myself to the test, also I gain muscle very slowly so I want to push myself no matter how long it takes to go far in this sport.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by reading biographies of Lou Ferrigno and Arnold Schwarzenegger, as well as Chris Cook.
Also reading profiles of the people on this site has motivated me tremendously!! They put in so much hard work and all have amazing stories to tell. It motivates me that someday I could motivate someone else.
BB Accomplishments:
So far I haven't competed. But some personal accomplishments have been gaining 2 inches on my arms, 2 on my chest, 1 on my thighs, 1 on my calves, and staying in shape.

I was 155 pounds then, so ive gained 15 lbs so far since febuary.
getting bigger but not much...happening very slowly
I want to get bigger but keep lean body mass and minimum fat. I want to compete as soon as possible when i think im ready.
Goal (Long):
By this June I would like to have my first ever contest, the NLABBA competition in St.john's NL. Hopefully i can weigh in at 155 lbs of lean muscle for the show, and perform well...Ofcourse my long term goal is to become pro eventually.
I live in an extremely small town, there isnt a gym around for hundreds of miles, it really sucks lol, especially when your involved in the sport of bodybuilding and you have a passion for extreme workouts like I do.
My equipment consists of a basic weight set with alot of weight plates and...
Hey Sam, my "training" is going as planned. I'm pretty much just doing basic movements/exercises to strengthen the muscles supporting my knee. I'm "maxing out" at about 2 lbs. ooooooooohhhhh
You have made some serious progress in less than a year Sam. You should be proud of your achievement so far. Continue training strong and feeding your muscles to grow and I bet you will be competing in no time.
