How I Started:
I battled with my image and weight while also juggling medical problems. After 3 knee surgeries and multiple nights in agony I am learning how to listen to my body and prevent injuries.
Why I Love It:
The rush I get from lifting and training. The constant pursuit to be better than the day before.
I have battled with my weight and body image for as long as I can remember. At 160 pounds, it was too much. I have to take back my life and appreciate my body and treat it like the temple it is. When I was younger I had eating and body issues, and did not appreciate my health.I now want to show everyone how healthy, muscular and beautiful my body can be.
I want to gain strength in the weight room while preventing and without aggravating injuries.
For the winter season, many people struggle with S-A-D (seasonal affective disorder) or general depression. It has been a rough year for us all, financial hits, job losses, and cutes to education. Life isn't easy!

I dropped by to say way to go with the weight loss and to wish you nothing but success in the future. Sad to hear about your knee problems but glad to hear that you are listening to your body. I workout at my work gym on North 1st; it's pretty decent and I have access to a bunch of group sessions.

I've just been too busy with work and travel the last few months and couldn't find time to be here. I have been trying to work out though, but need to get my intensity and frequency up to past levels.
