When I Started:
Jun, 2000
How I Started:
I've always been active and in and out of the gym for years. I see now that I never knew what I was doing in the earlier years and because of that didn't get the results. My weight had fluctuated up and down and I finally lost 42 pounds by doing a diet program. I did cardio with it and ended up slim but with not a lot of muscluar definition.
Then I had two babies 14 months apart and managed to get my weight down pretty well but felt SO out of shape.
In June 2005; three months after my second dghtr was born I got a trainer and worked with him for a year. In that time I lost about 15 to 20 pounds and got quite decently fit and my body fat was about 15% not too shabby.
I am the type to always strive for the extreme end so decided I needed to kick it up a notch.
So more determined than ever I found myself another trainer that had experience in training bodybuilders. I worked with him from Aug 2006 to the spring of 2007 when I did my first competition. It was a great experience and I hope I get to repeat it again some day!
Why I Love It:
I love working out and bodybuilding because it makes me feel good and boost my confidence. It helps me feel more in control of my life. Plus it never hurts to have a hot body.
How I Stay Motivated:
This summer has been very hard as I became Severly anemic and had to quit training for over three months due to extreme fatigue amongst other things. I am just starting back into my routines and my motivation is reminding myself how good it felt to be fit and strong...but it has been tough and I am finding it very hard to stay on track and still lack energy for real training.
BB Accomplishments:
I placed 2nd in the Canadian Western Finals, Tall class in April 2007. I was only two points off of first place.

Getting back into regular training after time off, lose some body fat, gain more muscle and try to look like I did in these photos again!!!!

Get to somwhere near 11% body fat and maintenance weight by the end of December. Start competition prep in January...ultimate goal back down to 9% and competition weight for spring competition.
Well it's been a good week so far. I am fittness mobile again and it's going well...I have gone on two 5.5 km runs now and am actually surpised at how well my body handled them after little or no working out since July or there abouts.
I have a great friend who has hopped on the wagon with...
Hi Chelsea...thanks for the add. Your pics and site look awesome, and you look amazing! I admire your dedication to getting back into the swing of things after being sick for so long. Hang in there, you seem to be doing so well. Thanks again and I’ll be looking forward to seeing your progress pics. Stay in touch and have a great weekend! -Lorenzo
