I started working out in high school, trying to put on a little bit of muscle to look good for the women. My buddy got me into power lifting competitions though. Once I got into those I never looked back. Didn't know what to do, or how to eat until I did some reasearch after boot camp.
Why I Love It:
I love working out, because of the way I feel. I like being strong, not necessarily have to be big, just strong for my size/weight. It's not all about what comes from lifting, I generally like to lift. It's a good hobby.
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation isn't really hard to come by with me. I just enjoy it. I like to take new people with me. Give them some of the knowledge that I have about weight training. I enjoy watching the changes my body goes through when pushed in different ways.
Plus there is the worst combination of words ever..."Bet you can't." Game On.

Help others attain their goals, and to continually get more knowledge and techniques for powerlifting/muscle building.
Goal (Long):
This goal is pretty short term. I'm out in Iraq right now, just trying to pack on some pounds. I want to pack on healthy weight though. 200 lbs and rising...bring out the abs with the help of team supermaine...1 month left!
Here's the breakdown of my gym session last night. Started off with the 2 heavy hitters skull crushers and standing barbell curl. After a quick stretch and warm-up it was game time. Started off with 30 on each side of the curl bar. Partner made sure there was little room for cheating...
Helllooo Sunshine how are things going with you? Well they sent me to Iraq for a bit and I got injured there but it didn't stop me I took a day off and then I was back at it!!! I am on a mision now to drop lbs and body fat!
Good Luck on that, I am sure you are going to do bad ass! I must agree with you on hating the sweating thing...it is constant over here and you think you would get use to it....but nope!

Hey dear, things are going good, still sweating my ass off but back to two a days here. Running 2 1/2 miles in the morning and then lifting like crazy in the evening!!! How are things going for you?
