got a small bench for christmas when i was 19, but i really started taking it seriously about a year ago (early 2007)

insatiable desire to be stronger than everybody else.

What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
i did bench everyday, i didnt eat, i had terrible form...
What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
dont worry how much weight your lifting, just focus on perfecting your form and creating mind-muscle connections.
What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
Some guys are just looking for attention but some are just pushing themselves to the breaking point...i very rarely do it

That's how it should be . . . hit me up if ever want to discuss. You're too young to limit yourself TOO much. Sure, game plans need to be adhered to, but you also need to get in the game itself too, right?

Hmmm . . . the old "gotta grow" thing. I see it both ways. A lot of guys who compete regularly seem to grow well because of the up-and-down rhythm that helps their body shoot up in weight after each contest cycle. And then there are the "long-bvreak-takers," like yourself. Me? I say get as much in as you can while you're young, because there's plenty of time to grow!!!

Hey man! Thanks for the add! Where do you train? I train over at SC Barbell in NE area. What contest are you doing? I want to do the Palmetto Cup so that I can recover and start training for strongman again. I want to compete in the NAS Masters Nationals next fall.

yea, i may try that, i was taking it preworkout as well as during workout. Going to try the NO Shotgun, NO Synthesize and Stealth. Supposed to be good stuff. Have used the shotgun but not the other.
